The free Bearspotting activity pack is a 5-page A4 PDF inspired by Michelle Robinson and David Roberts's picture book A Beginner's Guide to Bearspotting, published by BloomsburyKids. It's a handy resource for parents, teachers, or librarians looking for a quick, print-and-go activity for young bear fans.
What's inside the activity pack
The pack includes three activities. The Bearspotting Memory Game is a group game for three or more people: sit in a circle, start with 'I went for a walk in bear country and I took . . .' and take turns adding items until someone forgets. The winner is the last person to remember the whole list. There's also a Find the Bear! activity and a Bear Pairs! game, both likely to be visual puzzles or matching games.
How to print and play
Print the pack on A4 paper at actual size (not fit-to-page) to keep the layout as intended. For the memory game, gather a group of three or more players and follow the instructions on the sheet. The other activities can be done individually or in pairs. The pack also includes a note to share your creations with @KidsBloomsbury #Bearspotting.
