What is inside the 21-page PDF
Each pattern gives full instructions, yarn requirements, and stitch details. Bernard, designed by Irene Strange, is an intermediate-level project standing about 7in/18cm tall. You will need a US G/6 (4mm) crochet hook and a pair of 3/8in/10mm black safety eyes. The ebook warns that safety eyes are a choking hazard, not suitable for children under 36 months. An alternative colorway—Pale Lilac, Royal Blue, Vanilla Cream, Candyfloss Pink, and Raspberry Pink—lets you vary the look.
Printing and using the patterns
Print the PDF at actual size on A4 paper so measurements stay accurate. All pieces are worked in continuous rounds without joining; use a stitch marker at the start of each round. For invisible decreases, insert the hook under the front loop of the first stitch and both loops of the second, then complete like a regular single crochet. When sewing up, use a tapestry needle to pick up all front loops with the leftover yarn and pull tight to close.
